Boiled by the molten  magima below. Those bubbles become trapped in a tube that leads to geysers mouth. That tube fills gradually with water,the pressure builds and - Whoosh - old faithful erupts right on the schedule.




Why are white cliffs of dover white?

When a shallow sea covered the region,microscopic algae called coco -lithospores floated in the sea ,when they died their white calcium skeleton sunk to the bottom forming a white mud that grew thicker over time. When the sea receded ,the mud dried into the white ,crumbly chalk.
